  7. Simon is a voice recognition program. It saves you time by performing
  8. a sequence of actions with one voice command or command key sequence.
  9. Simon can listen for voice commands for specific applications or
  10. globally . Voice commands are trainable to your voice, no matter what
  11. your language, dialect or accent.  A user can launch applications,
  12. send mail, copy and past text or graphics, change font attributes and
  13. sizes, page through a document, pick tools off a palette and more.

  15. Training Simon is quick and easy. Just select the applications you
  16. want to control by voice and/or alternate command key sequence and
  17. Simon automatically adds the menu items with command keys to his
  18. vocabulary. Then *train: Simon's vocabulary by responding to
  19. on-screen promptsPyou'll be asked to repeat each word three times.
  20. When you're finished, Simon launches applications and activates menu
  21. commands in response to your voice or a command key sequence you
  22. specify.

  24. And that's not allPyou can even build sophisticated macros by
  25. dropping objects into Simon's sequencer, then activate your macros by
  26. speaking a single voice command. Simon includes built-in objects for
  27. creating macros that include keystrokes, pasteboard libraries, sound
  28. libraries, UNIX shell commands, NeXTmail, timed delays and mouse
  29. events.

  31. Simon Says 2.0 will have an improved interface and added
  32. functionality. It will be distributed as a fat binary that will run
  33. on NEXTSTEP for Intel as well as NeXT computers.
